  • We are looking for qualified and experienced Disability Support Workers for our ever-growing team, providing support to a range of participants from 6 years to adult.

Duties and responsibilities of the role

  • Assist individuals to perform daily living tasks, such as hygiene, cooking, cleaning, community outings, learning and maintaining daily routines.
  • Medication administration.
  • Providing companionship and support to assist clients to develop their existing skills, abilities, and confidence.
  • Maintaining record of client progress
  • Assist in the coordination of support for participants

What you need

  • Enthusiasm and passion about supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.
  • Recent experience in the Disability sectors at least 1 year, and specifically with behaviours of concern.
  • Relevant qualifications (Cert III or above) in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Services
  • Current First Aid (no more than 3 years old) and CPR (no more than 12 months old) Certificates.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepover, and active night shifts.
